Ubisoft’s upcoming totally-not-Breath-of-the-Wild game Immortals Fenyx Rising has gone through some trials and tribulations of its own. After a much-maligned name change, fans and naysayers have been anticipating the game’s launch. Today, the game’s PC specs have been announced. And not just one of those dinky, little announcements where you’re just given some vague minimum settings. We have info that runs the entire gamut from very low to very high. Let’s take a quick look, shall we?

As we can see here, you’ll need at least a GTX 660 to run Immortals Fenyx Rising on PS3/360 mode. I’m not sure why they included that one. Also, heh, they mentioned an HDD and Windows 7. Why would they do that? That means that the game runs on Windows 7 in general, but they only included 10 for everything else? Weird choice, Ubi, but whatever. The very low setting is 720p at 30 FPS, which most aren’t going to bother with. And why mention an HDD? What difference could that make? In case somebody sees SSD and has never owned one, so they weren’t able to understand if they could store it or not? Bad form, Peter! Bad form!

On the other end of the scale, we’ve got very high at 4k and 30 FPS. What would it take to do Immortals Fenyx Rising at 60 FPS? Would a 2080 TI be enough? I’m going to assume the answer is “very yes!” The good news is that it doesn’t take a hell of a lot to run the game at 1440 and 60 FPS. The install size isn’t too bad either. 28 GB is considerably less than most AAA open-world games nowadays. Horizon: Zero Dawn is almost 70 GB and that game is technically half a decade old! I’m looking forward to seeing how these graphics handle myself, but I’m glad I’ll be able to run the friggin’ thing with ease. Now we just need to do something about that title. Maybe squinting will help!
