EA and Ghost Games have released a new trailer for Need for Speed Payback that shows more details on the game. The trailer shows off its new deep customisation options and also reveals ‘derelicts’, which are classic vintage vehicles you will need to restore to their prime.  Take MTV’s Pimp My Ride, sans Xzibit, and throw in some Fast and the Furious and you’re there.

Players can find and discover crapped-out classic cars peppered throughout the game. These ‘derelicts’ are essentially just the chassis of the car, which can then be evolved from scrap cars to their stock condition, before being enhanced until they’re ridiculous supercar beasts. Ridiculous supercar beasts is definitely the correct definition, by the way.

In addition to this reveal, EA also announced that if you pre-order the game you’ll receive the very exclusive Platinum Car Park. This’ll give you access to five ‘iconic tuned cars’, as well as some more exclusive Platinum Blue Underground and Tire Smoke Vanity items. Now you can craft your ride however you like it.

Need for Speed: Payback will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 10, 2017.
