Justin Roiland’s latest creation, High on Life is finally here – and has already gone down a storm with fans, with a ‘Very Positive’ rating on Steam.

High on Life, which is available on Xbox and Windows PC, sees you play a bounty hunter, who is tasked with stopping an alien invasion by the G3 cartel.

The good news is that you’re not alone in your mission – and have a number of small, deadly alien friends to help you, called Gatlians. Sound intriguing? It is… and as we’ll reveal below, there are a number of ways to play the game without breaking the bank.

Is High on Life free?

High on Life is not free. On PC, via Steam, it costs £46.99, while on Xbox (the only other platform the game is on), it costs £49.99 (same $ equivalent).

The good news is that there are ways to play the game without having to shell out – thanks to Game Pass. And, if you’re yet to join, you can get your first month for just £1.

You can do that by clicking here and the follow the steps. There are different tiers, but this £1 offer is on available for the Ultimate (which renews at £10.99 per month unless cancelled) and the PC version (which includes EA Play and renews for £7.99 per month). The subscription will automatically renew if not cancelled.

So, to conclude, you won’t be able to play High on Life free, but as Squanch Games partnered with Xbox for the launch, you won’t need to shell out anything near full price to experience their latest game.
