The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is shaping up to be one of the year’s biggest releases following the success of the opening installment. Although players are yet to get an official preview of what the gameplay will look like, a few snippets had already been shown during the initial announcement trailer.
However, the developers haven’t revealed much ever since the first sneak peek which has led to fans constantly asking questions regarding the game’s design. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will not have co-op enabled, much like most of the previous titles released. Although Nintendo Switch Online functionality will be included on release day, this is most likely just for cloud saves and DLC as opposed to multiplayer and co-op features.
However, fans of Nintendo’s ever-popular franchise have been speculating that a mechanic similar to Wind Waker HD’s Tingle Bottles may be included in TotK. Though nothing is set in stone yet at the time of writing, the inclusion of this feature would allow players to send messages to other random users much like the messaging system integrated in FromSoftware titles.
