Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is the Star Wars game fans have been waiting to get their hands on for what seems to be years. Thankfully the game managed to meet and exceed expectations despite dealing with some nagging performance issues.

The game itself feels so true to Star Wars and helps strengthen the canon fans have fallen in love with ever since the creation and release of the original trilogy. Let’s now take a look at 10 easter eggs in Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order only true fans didn’t miss.

10 Kenobi Appearance

Going into Jedi: Fallen Order fans assumed that there would be some reference to the events of Order 66 as the base premise for the game was that Cal was a surviving Padawan of the horrific event.

Little did anyone know that early in the game they’d be seeing Obi-Wan Kenobi via hologram talking about Order 66. Obi-Wan has always been a fan favorite ever since his introduction and fans can’t wait to see more of him with the upcoming Disney+ series focusing on the Jedi Master.

9 A Tarfful Return

It’s pretty popular these days to pretend as though the prequel trilogy never existed and because of this, it’s likely that players of Jedi: Fallen Order assumed General Tarfful was a new character.

Not only is Tarfful a character that already existed in canon, but he and Chewbacca helped Yoda escape Kashyyyk during the events of Order 66. Chewbacca may be the beloved member of the crew, but Tarfful is a legend among Wookie and a war hero that will never be forgotten on the planet of Kashyyyk.

8 The High Ground

The line referring to Obi-Wan’s declaration of likely success against Anakin when he warns him about having the high ground has and always will be a meme. Internet culture has used that line and a lot of what the prequels did as ammo for jokes and goofs of varying hilarity.

Respawn seemingly wanted to pay homage to the line as players can hear stormtroopers bragging about having the high ground during a climbing traversal section early on in the mission to locate General Tarfful on Kashyyk.

7 Obi-Wan Shoutout

Lines of dialogue can either be the most obvious or subtle ways to drop references to other Star Wars films or pieces of media. Late in the game when Cal and his crew return to Bogano in hopes of uncovering the coveted Holocron, Cal makes an obvious nod to Obi-Wan Kenobi.

When the Second Sister appears in the tomb behind Cal, he utters the words: “I had a bad feeling I’d see you here.” This calls back to the numerous times in which Obi-Wan lets the world know he had a bad feeling about something.

6 Losing An Arm

Out of nowhere, it seems the Star Wars franchise has had a pattern of at least one character in every entertainment outing lose a hand. It’s unclear whether or not it was intended to be a tradition throughout the series, but it managed to become one whether by intention or accident.

In Jedi: Fallen Order it seems that the Ninth Sister drew the short straw on this despite already losing a leg by way of Darth Vader. Cal ends up cutting off her hand at the end of their fight on Kashyyyk.

5 Titanfall Skin

The developers of Jedi: Fallen Order, Respawn Entertainment made their mark as a new developer with their flagship IP called Titanfall. They never forgot their roots and it seems they wanted fans of their work to remember as well, as BD-1 received a special skin called Vanguard, which is reminiscent of Titanfall’s titans color scheme.

With some more digging, it’s likely that they managed to sneak in some more Titanfall nods that would technically be official canon moving forward in the universe.

4 George Lucas

George Lucas is one of the world’s most successful and well-known directors and almost all of that is due to what he did with the creation of Star Wars. There’s a famous line that Lucas was known for saying on set during the filming of the original series.

He would tell the actors that they needed to be “Faster! More Intense!”, which is a line players can hear Cal’s Jedi Master Jaro Tapal levy at him during the flashback sequences. It’s a really clever way to call back to the man and movie that started it all.

3 The Clone Ship

One of the cooler moments in the game is when players slide down an icy path and come upon the reveal of a giant crashed ship. Upon further examination and a word from Greez, it’s clear that this giant crashed ship is actually a Venator from the clone army that was used during the events of Revenge of the Sith.

They were the triangular ships that were the first version of what would later become known as Star Destroyers. It helps tie-in to the numerous clone trooper events you learn about on Zeffo.

2 Starkiller

A neat easter egg that was found by a Reddit user named VicOnTop is the tire-track mark that can be seen on Ilum once you return after the Empire shows up. The same type of marking is seen in The Force Awakens on the planet that becomes Starkiller Base.

It’s not outside the realm of possibility that the Empire kept records on Ilum and returned at a later date when they were searching for an ideal candidate. The kyber crystals that are found there make a great power source for a planetary super-weapon.

1 Star Wars Tunes

BD-1 isn’t only the most adorable droid to ever exist, it also happens to know how to activate latent pockets of nostalgia in players. Throughout the game, BD-1 can be heard making beeps and boops that string together harmoniously.

Most of the time it’s seemingly random new sounds, but every once in awhile you can catch a glimpse of some familiar Star Wars music. This is a really neat touch that endears BD-1 even more to the players who witnessed the bond grow between it and Cal.
