Despite the fact that George Lucas feels betrayed by Disney, the house of the mouse continues to push the bounds of one of its most popular IPs. As the encroachment of Disney+ and The Rise of Skywalker nears, it’s hard to tell which is more exciting. Of them all, anticipation stirs most prominently behind EA and Respawn’s upcoming project, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Respawn has some juicy new details to unveil on the game, in addition to a brand new trailer, all prepped and ready for launch tomorrow morning.

As Snoke himself says in the first iteration of Disney’s Skywalker trilogy, “There has been an awakening. Have you felt it?” Every Star Wars fan across the globe can feel the tidal wave of incoming press, what with even more information being released on the final film and the franchise’s newest television show, The Mandalorian. Every gamer, on the other hand, has their eyes peeled for this newest in-game look at one of the most anticipated single-player experiences of the year.

A small bite of information was posted on the official Jedi: Fallen Order site. Aptly named the “Triple Force Friday Global Reveal” (despite most of the game info debuting on Thursday), the broadcast will air on three different platforms, EA’s Mixer account, as well as Star Wars Twitch and YouTube channels at 11 a.m. PT. Cameron Monaghan, the voice actor for the new titular character, Carl Kestis, will make an appearance to build up the already swirling hype. The E3 gameplay demo showcased some of the game’s stellar combat structure and narrative processes, opening with Kestis breaking into and subsequently operating a moss-covered AT-AT walker, accompanied by a small droid named BD-1.

There are, of course, many fans wary — and rightfully so. A Force Unleashed in today’s graphics with a completely revamped narrative design looks sweet on paper, but if made improperly it could very well spell the end of the series. After the whole Battlefront II loot box fiasco, EA remains in some hot water with both fans and the industry writ large. With Respawn at the helm, though, there are some quality expectations out there (and from what has been shown and teased thus far, it’s safe to assume they know exactly what they’re creating).

Despite its rocky release, the plentitude of all-new additions to Battlefront II has kept the community satiated for some time. Today alone brings a whole slew of enhancements with the 1.38 patch notes adding Felucia, a jungle world from the Clone Wars, four-player co-op PVE mode, Single Player Instant Action experience, the Clone Commando, and so much more. There’s plenty of Star Wars gaming to be had and there’s plenty more to be excited for as the November 8 launch for their newest project approaches.

In the meantime, keep attuned to the Force. At 11 a.m. PT, tomorrow bear witness to an all-new look at Jedi: Fallen Order.
