Jeremy Clarkson will not be returning to narrate Forza Motorsport 6, Turn 10 has confirmed.

“We have a great relationship with Top Gear,” creative director Bill Giese told VideoGamer.com at E3 earlier today. “We’ll include their Top Gear Track. The producers and writers have come up with some really cool Showcase events for us as well. Jeremy Clarkson will not be a part of the game.”

Clarkson was fired from the BBC earlier this year following an “unprovoked physical attack” on a Top Gear producer. He had previously worked with Microsoft on both 2011’s Forza Motorsport 4 and 2013’s Forza Motorsport 5.

Former Top Gear co-presenters Richard Hammond and James May will both be lending their voice to Forza Motorsport 6, however, alongside other professional drivers.

“What’s great about those guys is they give the automotive passion to tell you why these cars are so important,” Giese said. “And then you’ve got things like Showcase events where we’ve got a tonne of professional race car drivers, and they’re doing all sorts of stuff: Endurance to Autocross, being able to give these players this sense of [there being] so much to motorsport.”

Forza Motorsport 6 launches on Xbox One on September 15.
