The PS4 version of Journey will release this summer, SCEE has confirmed to Digital Spy. The game will be available to purchase digitally or in a physical boxed release with fl0w and Flower.
The current-gen re-release had originally been due to launch last year, although quite why it’s seen such a hefty delay remains unclear. The remaster is set to feature higher resolution 1080p visuals and a new 60fps frame rate.
Players who purchased a digital copy of the PS3 original will be able to download the PS4 version at no additional cost. A price for the standalone digital release or the physical Journey Collector’s Edition has yet to be announced.
