Charlie’s Angels and Jumanji are not only getting set to dominate the box office this holiday season, but also the mobile gaming scene.

Earlier this year, gamers thought they’d be flocking to cinemas right about now to see Sonic the Hedgehog. Thanks to the backlash against the blue hedgehog’s design, the movie has been delayed for three months (at least). That doesn’t mean gamers and movie-goers won’t be able to get their video game/Hollywood crossover fix this holiday season, though.

Forget Frozen II and shift your focus to Jumanji: The Next Level and Charlie’s Angels if it wasn’t there already. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be stepping back into the perilous jungle and this time, Danny Devito is coming with him - or is him. It’s a little confusing. Plus, iconic franchise Charlie’s Angels is getting an Elizabeth Banks-led reboot and we are very much here for it.

So, what about the gaming crossover? That comes courtesy of TabTale. The developers have created mobile games to coincide with the releases of both Jumanji and Charlie’s Angels. The latter will be coming first as the reboot and is set for release on November 29, 2019. The game of the same name will be released on mobile on the same day and is a side-scrolling runner, a setup frequent mobile gamers will be familiar with.

As for the Jumanji game from TabTale, fans will have to wait a little longer for that. The sequel won’t hit theaters until December 11, 2019, and again, the mobile game will hit app stores on the same day. It will have a slightly different setup to Charlie’s Angels, as players fight off the same obstacles characters have come across in the movies. Plus, most importantly, players will be able to assume the role of an animated version of The Rock.

Now for the best part of all, the price. Both Jumanji and Charlie’s Angels mobile games will be free-to-play and available on both iOS and Android. If you’re still not convinced, give TabTale’s Hotel Transylvania mobile game a go while you’re waiting for the arrival of Jumanji and Charlie’s Angels. It has racked up more than 21 million downloads, so you won’t be the only one playing.
