Jurassic World Evolution 2 was just announced at Summer Game Fest 2021 by Jeff Goldblum, who starred as Dr. Ian Malcolm in the Jurassic Park franchise. The first Jurassic World: Evolution game originally released in 2018. This new release will act as a direct sequel to the first construction and management simulation game.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 will build upon the mechanics from the original game while also introducing a new narrative campaign. The story will take place after the catastrophic events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. According to the trailer, which Goldblum narrates, the scientists have played with genetics a bit too much. They have unintentionally created a much more dangerous world filled with over 75 different prehistoric species. It is your job to contain the dinosaurs with the help of familiar characters like Dr. Ian Malcolm, Claire Dearing, and Dr. Henry Wu.

In addition, these dinosaurs will benefit from a smart AI system that makes their behavior more realistic and intelligent than ever before. The prehistoric creatures will interact with and occasionally fight one another when things get heated in the park.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 will have four game modes

Players will also get to expand their parks and have the chance to build beyond the boundaries of the Muertes Archipelago for the very first time in the Jurassic World Evolution franchise. Apart from the campaign, players can try out the creative Sandbox mode or put their park building skills to the test with Challenge mode. The Chaos Theory mode will allow players to relive key moments from the Jurassic World films and reshape the future with their decisions.

The game will also feature deeper management and construction systems with more diverse biomes and locations such as deserts and forests. Jurassic World Evolution 2 will release on PC in late 2021.
