Just Cause 3 runs at 1080p on PS4, but only 900p on Xbox One, developer Avalanche Studios has confirmed to GamingBolt.

However, the studio believes all players will enjoy the experience no matter what system they choose.

“The game runs at 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One,” said game director Roland Lesterlin. “We do so much with physics and screen space effects, that we are confident our players will thoroughly enjoy themselves no matter the platform they play the game on.”

Just Cause 3 launches December 1.

Xbox One gamers are now pretty used to playing games in 900p. Let’s hope the compromise means Avalanche can manage to hold a steady frame rate when everything kicks off.
