Kanye West isn’t one to shy away from sharing an opinion and now he’s jumped in on the long-running argument against in-app purchases that prey on the uneducated actions of children.
“Fuck any game company that puts in-app purchases on kids games!!!” Tweeted the rapper.
“If a game is made for a 2 year old, just allow them to have fun and give the parents a break for Christ sake.
“That makes no sense!!! We give the iPad to our child and every 5 minutes there’s a new purchase!!!”
West’s views are likely to be shared by millions of other parents, many of whom will have been stung purchases made by their little ones left alone with their favourite game.
You could argue that West’s wife and businesswoman Kim Kardashian is part of the problem with her hugely popular Kim Kardashian: Hollywood app, but this is aimed at teenagers not pre-preschoolers.
