Box-rolling physics-based platformer Unbox is heading to PS4 and Xbox One later this year in addition to its previously announced PC release, Sold Out has confirmed.
It isn’t yet clear whether the game will actually be available to buy in a box, or whether it’ll only be available digitally. The game is expected to cost around £14.99 on PC.
Developed by UK indie studio Prospect Games, Unbox sees players rolling their “self-delivering” cardboard box across a variety of environments, including volcanic islands, snowy mountains and oil rigs, while completing challenges and defeating bosses.
The game is said to have been inspired by ball-rolling PS2 classic Katamari Damacy and the “expansive exploration” of Super Mario 64, and features a full single-player campaign along with split-screen multiplayer. To be frank, it all looks a bit bonkers…
