Nintendo Switch Online is expanding its lineup of NES games soon, with Kid Icarus and StarTropics available to grab from March 13.
Kid Icarus should be familiar to most Ninty fans. The game launched for the NES back in 1986, and is something of a cult classic. A sequel came out on Game Boy, although the franchise went on a 20-year hiatus and didn’t show its face again until 3DS title Kid Icarus Uprising in 2012.
Still, the game’s hero, Pit, managed to forge a second career as a guest character for the Super Smash Bros. series.
Elsewhere, StarTropics was released back in 1990 and takes the form of a top-down, Zelda-like adventure game where you control a chap named Mike who fights with a yo-yo. Points for originality, eh?
