Well that’s one way to wish fans a happy Valentine’s Day!
AMC and BBC America have confirmed the release date for the much-anticipated Killing Eve season 3. The third installment of Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s feminist femme fatale spy series will premiere on Sunday, April 26 at 10 p.m. ET. Just like last season, episodes will air on both AMC and BBC America.
The two networks also released an appropriately romantic Valentine’s greeting to accompany the announcement.
And if both a release date and a video weren’t enough AMC and BBC America have also revealed the first batch of first-look photos for Killing Eve season 3. The refreshing news here is that the show isn’t even bothering to indulge the possibility that Eve was killed by Villanelle’s bullet. Yes, believe it or not, the namesake of the series played by producer and multiple-award winning actress Sandra Oh makes it through this one ok. It’s something that AMC even decided to recognize in a statement to the press.

“These photos are gorgeous and also a bit of a spoiler – yes, Eve is still alive!” Sarah Barnett, President of AMC Networks Entertainment Group and AMC Studios, said. “These two blindingly good actors return for a season that finds both characters somewhere new. What remains the same is that Killing Eve will continue to pull fans along for a ferociously original and heart-pounding ride.”
But that doesn’t meant that there aren’t still plenty of other surprises to be found in these photos.
First up is Fiona Shaw as Carolyn Martens – seen here displaying an important tool for sports fandom.
Well, this is a new look. Killing Eve is a show well known for its bold style choices but little did we know that Villanelle (who we think is seen on the left) would be going undercover as a clown.
Always nice to have Kim Bonda as Konstantin back.
Eve’s husband Niko (Owen McDonnell) had a real rough go of it in season 2. But here he is seeming happy and healthy (and perhaps tellingly, not with Eve).
Wouldn’t be a collection of Killing Eve photos without out villain in a lovely floral dress.
Eve appears to be picking up some new talents as she convalesces.

Killing Eve is one of BBC America’s most successful shows, bringing in excellent ratings, several awards, and a lot of critical praise. The series follows an unusual cat and mouse game between MI6 agent Eve and an international assassin. Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge created the series based on the Villanelle series of novels. Waller-Bridge ceded showrunning duties to Emerald Fennell in season 2. Suzanne Heathcote (Fear the Walking Dead) takes over for season 3.
Joining the cast for season 3 are Dame Harriet Walter (Succession) Danny Sapani (Harlots), Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones), Camille Cottin (Call My Agent), Steve Pemberton (Inside No. 9), Raj Bajaj (A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding), Turlough Convery (Ready Player One), Pedja Bjelac (Harry Potter) and Evgenia Dodina (One Week and a Day).
AMC has already ordered Killing Eve season 4.
