Tripwire Interactive, Deep Silver, and Iceberg Interactive’s team-based FPS Killing Floor 2 is now out globally on Xbox One. The Xbox One port of the game comes with all the content that’s been released post-launch on other formats, such as The Tropical bash, The Descent and The Summer Sideshow.

Killing Floor 2 continues the storyline from the original Killing Floor. Horzine,, a biotech firm, has created zombie-like creatures, called Zeds, that have broken free from the confines of the laboratory. The Zed outbreak has spread throughout Europe crippling the response from the European Union. The sequel takes place a month later when the outbreak has spread further, causing governments to break down and society to fall. Up to six players can play cooperatively as they try to stop the spread  by taking out hordes of these Zeds, with each wave culminating in a boss fight.

Killing Floor 2 was previously made available as part of the PS+ monthly games promotion on PS4. The price of entry for Xbox One owners will be a fairly reasonable £34.99.

Killing Floor 2 is available now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The Xbox One X will be receiving an update patch when the console is released, though there’s no confirmation on what enhancements will be made.
