Square Enix has released a new Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer focusing on the Tangled-inspired world of Corona.

Fresh from Lucca 2018, the footage comes with a message from director Tetsuya Nomura on Twitter, who confirmed that development on the highly anticipated Disney-RPG is coming to an end. Not surprising really, as it’s out in January, so that’s good to know.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2019. The game has been a long time coming; Kingdom Hearts 2 came out way back in 2004, and the third game was announced over five years ago at E3 2013.

A special message from #KingdomHearts franchise director Tetsuya Nomura:

“I was supposed to visit #LuccaCG18 but as development on #KingdomHearts III is coming to an end, I have to focus on development. Instead, I’ve prepared a special trailer for everyone – please watch!”
