First off, it’s important to note that not just Amiibo from this franchise that works with Kirby and the Forgotten Land. If you’re a collector and you don’t have any figures from this series, then that is completely fine. You’ll just get the same basic items every time. Any time you scan a non-Kirby Amiibo you will get food to refill your health bar and a few coins.
As for the franchise Amiibo, there are four that work in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Kirby, Dedede, Meta Knight, and Waddle Dee all have specific functionality. It’s also important to note that any versions of these Amiibo will work in the game. It doesn’t matter if they’re from the Smash line or the Kirby line. Keep in mind that you can only use five different Amiibo per level. However, even if you have the Smash series Meta Knight and the Kirby series Meta Knight, that counts as a single Amiibo.
