Already three months in and Riot Games is showing no sign of slowing. These past three patches have all been pretty major so far, enough to change the state of the game! But let’s keep it real — League of Legends is still blazing ahead with changes to champions who might now be viable in the jungle, which also includes some mages strangely enough. Alongside this, some changes to Death Dance and the Teleport summoner spell of all things will also be coming to League of Legends patch 10.6. So without further ado, let’s look at the changes.

Champion changes

Anivia — buff

Anivia will have a major buff to her Glacial Storm (R) where it can no longer be canceled by any form of crowd control. Anivia’s ability to proc Frostbite (E) on her ultimate will now have its duration extended to three seconds.

 

Aphelios — nerf

Aphelios will have his Severum (Pistol) life steal decreased from 8%—25%, to 3%–20%. His Infernum (Flamethrower) will have its extra damage to minions decreased from 45% to 30%. His Crescendum (Chakram) will have its mini chakram damage decreased from 30%–173% total AD, to 24%—164% total AD.

Brand — buff

Brand’s Blaze (Passive) now deals 120% damage to monsters, dealing a maximum of 80 damage per second.

Darius — nerf

Darius’ Crippling Strike (W) has its bonus damage decreased from 50/55/60/65/70% total AD, to 40/45/50/55/60% total AD. Its mana cost has been increased from 30 to 40. His Apprehend (E) also has its mana increased from 45 to 65.

Kindred — buff

Kindred’s AD per level has been increased from 2.26 to 2.5. Her Wolf’s Frenzy (W) has its health restore increased from 28+4 per level, to 46+3 per level. Kindred’s Lamb’s Respite (R) has its healing increased from 200/250/300, to 250/325/400.

Morgana — buff

Morgana has her base movement speed increased from 330 to 335. Her Tormented Shadow (W) deals 150% damage to non-epic monsters. Black Shield (E) has its shield amount increased from 60/120/180/240/300, to 80/135/190/245/300.

Senna — nerf

Senna’s Absolution (Passive) has its AD gain lowered from 1 to 0.75. Cooldown of mist spawns has been updated to be 6/5/4 at levels 1/6/11.

Shen — buff

Shen’s Twilight Assault (Q) has its maximum damage to monsters increased from 75/100//125/150/175, to 120/140/160/180/200.

Soraka — buff

Soraka’s Starcall (Q) has its total base healing increased from 40/50/60/70/80%, to 50/60/70/80/90%. Alongside these changes, her movement speed has been also increased from 10/12.5/15/17.5/20%, to 15/17.5/20/22.5/25%.

Teemo — buff

Teemo’s Blinding Dart (Q) now blinds minions and monsters for double the duration. His Toxic Shot (E) passive how deals 150% damage to monsters.

Twisted Fate — buff

Twisted Fate’s Pick a Card (W) now has its AP ratio increased for his blue and red cards. His blue card will be increased from 50% to 90%, while his red card will now have its AP ratio increased from 50% to 60%.

Urgot — buff

Urgot’s Corrosive Charge (Q) slow duration has been increased from 1 second to 1.25 seconds. Disdain (E) stun duration has been increased from 0.75 seconds to 1 second.

Veigar — buff

Veigar is getting an increase to his AD from 50.71 to 52. His AD per level will be increased from 2.625 to 2.7 and base Armor from 22.55 to 23. His Baleful Strike (Q) damage has been increased from 70/110/150/190/230, to 80/120/160/200/240.

Wukong — rework

The Wukong rework has been released for some time. We have discussed this rework in depth.

Xerath — buff

Xerath’s Eye of Destruction (W) has its slow increased from 50% to 66.7% to enemies caught in the centre of the blast. His Rite of the Arcane (R) has its damage increased from 200/240/280 (43% AP), to 200/250/300 (45% AP).

Yorick — buff

Yorick’s Shepard of Souls (Passive) has a guarantee to spawn a grave whenever a Large monster dies near Yorick. Alongside this, Yorick’s ghouls will also take 50% damage from monsters.

Zyra — buff

Zyra’s Garden of Thrones (Passive) now has Zyra’s plants deal 150% damage to non-epic monsters.

Item changes

Death Dance — update

Death Dance will have its recipe changed. It has been a popular item for League of Legends since it was first released. Its build path will now consist of Aegis of Legion, Vampiric Scepter, and Caulfield’s Warhammer and will have an extra 500 gold to complete the item. With these changes to the item, Death Dance now costs an extra 100 gold.

Death Dance now has its AD decreased from 80 to 50. It also now has 30 Armor and Magic Resist, with its bleed passive only now only affecting ranged champions.

Summoner spell changes

Teleport — update

Teleport has always been a staple summoner spell in League of Legends. Teleport’s cooldown will be changed from 360 seconds flat to 480—240 seconds over the course of the game. After using teleport, the spell now also grants 30—45% movement speed over three seconds on arrival.

One for All

One for All is the next rotating game mode coming out in League of Legends patch 10.6. It’s been so long since the game mode last came around, and I’m so excited to try it out  Yuumi and Sett with my friends.
