E3 2020 doesn’t take place until June, but that hasn’t stopped some details of the show from leaking online. A list of E3 2020 attendees has leaked, revealing some surprising companies that will participate in this year’s show, as well as some glaring omissions.

The E3 2020 leak comes courtesy of Resetera user Rosti, who discovered the list through the official E3 website. It includes E3 mainstays like Bandai Namco, Capcom, and Bethesda, but also includes some companies that haven’t always been at the show. For example, the E3 2020 leak confirms that Call of Duty publisher Activision will be in attendance, which is somewhat surprising since Activision didn’t participate in E3 2019 last year.

It should be noted that just because a company will be at E3 2020, it doesn’t mean that it will have a press conference. Most of the E3 2020 attendees will be there just to show off their games to people at the actual event, while the press conferences and the like will be reserved for a select few. So even though the E3 2020 leak confirms Square Enix for the event, that doesn’t mean that there will be a big presentation like fans got at last year’s show.

Here’s the E3 2020 leaked list of attendees:

Activision

Bandai Namco

Bethesda

Capcom

Epic Games

Kalypso Media Group

NCSOFT

RDS Industries

Sega

Square Enix

Take-Two

Tencent

THQ Nordic

Ubisoft

UnnamedVR by Paracosma

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment

XSEED Games

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment being involved may be of particular interest to some fans, as the company has been teasing a new Batman game for some time now. If the new Batman game isn’t announced by the time E3 2020 rolls around in June, one has to imagine that it will finally be revealed at the show.

Meanwhile, there are two glaring omissions that some fans will notice. At the time of this writing, neither Nintendo nor Microsoft are listed as going to E3 2020. However, fans shouldn’t worry just yet. The list of E3 2020 attendees is not finalized, and not only that, but Microsoft has already confirmed it will be at E3. Nintendo is almost certainly going to be at E3 as well, as the Big N has always saved major announcements for the big show.

Sony won’t be at E3 2020, but otherwise fans can expect most major video game companies to participate in some capacity. Even Electronic Arts, which won’t be at E3 itself, will likely host a comparable event within walking distance like it’s done in recent years.

Fans can expect the official list of E3 2020 attendees to be finalized in the coming months.
