Bandai Namco has announced that minifig melee beat-em-up Lego Brawls will arrive on consoles and PC from September 2.

As previously revealed back in May, Lego Brawls will see players go into battle with Lego Minifig heroes. They’ll get to design their own fighter from a range of Lego parts to give them their own look & fighting style. They’ll then take these into battle across a range of similarly Lego-themed battleground stages.

Of course, the Lego theme means there’s some cool twists on the formula. You’ll be able to earn Minifig pieces to upgrade and update your fighter between matches. There’s also plenty of unique Lego weapons, from Sledgehammers to Baguettes. And the worlds are themed around long time fan-favourite Lego sets, including Ninjago, Monkie Kid, wild-west saloons, dinosaurs and many more.

Expect multiple game modes too, including team-based 4V4 modes, party mode and a battle-royale style free-for-all. Naturally, there’s also global leaderboards so you can compare yourself against the best. The game originally launched on Apple Arcade back in 2019, but has been given a good going over for its full-sized console debut.

You can check out a pair of launch trailers for the game for yourself down below. Lego Brawls arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC on September 2.
