Playdead’s celebrated platformers Limbo and Inside will launch for Nintendo Switch on June 28.

If you’ve never played either title, then you should know this news is a pretty big deal and an ideal opportunity to snap them up.

Limbo was released back in 2010 for Xbox 360, and has since come to various other platforms over the years. Billed as ’trial and death’ by its creator, Limbo employs a spooky film noir visual style with complex, physics-based puzzles, not to mention some rather brutal death scenes as you control a young boy on a hunt for his missing sister.

Inside meanwhile is billed as Limbo’s spiritual successor, and arrived in 2016 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. Much like its predecessor, Inside sees you controlling a pint-sized protagonist as he has to overcome various brain-aching environmental puzzles while avoiding a grisly death.

Both games were critically acclaimed and are often labelled as some of the best indie outings of recent years, and we very much agree. Check out our Limbo review and Inside review to see what we made of Playdead’s dynamic duo.
