The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope secret unlocks – Curator’s Cut, scene selection, and bonus features

These are the ways for you to unlock the bonus features in The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope:

  • Interview with Will Poulter – Finish the game.
  • Designing the Demons – Complete the “Reflections” scene.
  • Secrets of Little Hope – part 1 – Collect all brass secrets.
  • Secrets of Little Hope – part 2 – Collect all silver secrets.
  • Little Hope art book – Complete the “Surrounded” scene.

The behind-the-scenes videos and art book are really nifty bonus features to look at. You’ll get an idea of how Little Hope was designed as well as the developmental process involved.

Regarding Little Hope‘s secrets, you’ll find these when you open your collectibles menu. The brass secrets refer to those with a bronze outline. The silver ones, meanwhile, refer to the ones with a lighter, metallic outline. Just make sure you examine objects in the environment to obtain more of these and learn of darker implications about the plot.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to discover all of them even after a couple of replays. I missed out on seven of the game’s secrets: 5, 10, 12, 33, 34, 43, and 48.

Note: My guess is that the others can only be spotted if you’re playing the Curator’s Cut. But, if you do find these during a Theatrical Cut playthrough, let me know.

As for the Curator’s Cut, this is available to those who pre-ordered the game and is unlocked by finishing the normal mode/Theatrical Cut at least once. If you didn’t pre-order, you’ll have to wait until the Curator’s Cut is made freely available down the line.

Like Man of Medan, the Curator’s Cut changes the playable characters in various chapters. For instance, your previous run might’ve had you controlling Daniel as he explored an abandoned store. However, in a Curator’s Cut run, you’d be controlling Taylor if she’s with him.

Lastly, scene selection becomes available whenever you complete chapters in the game (the previous one becomes unlocked). This lets you make different choices which could lead to new outcomes.

Sadly, as mentioned in our official review, there’s no way to skip cutscenes at all. Likewise, you’ll start from the beginning of each scene/chapter. If an important decision had to be made towards the end, then be prepared for some tediousness.
