Last week there was a discovery involving LittleBigPlanet and a leaked trophy list that seemed to reveal that the highly ancipated water patch would come with Pirates of the Caribbean themed levels. Looks like the trophy list didn’t lie!
According to Sony, there will be two Pirates of the Caribbean add-on packs released: the first is the level pack featuring the water mechanic, five new levels, a cannibal costume, four new music tracks, a new level background, eight new materials, fourteen decorations, twenty-seven new objects, one hundred thirty three stickers, and eleven brand new trophies to collect. Meanwhile, the second pack will feature six different costumes, including “Sack” Sparrow, Davy Jones, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Tia Dalma, and Captain Barbossa.
The trailer that Media Molecule has released shows off some of the cool new costumes and levels that you and your friends can galavant through once downloading the Pirate packs. Check it out after the jump:

If you want to be able to use water in your created levels and jump around as “Sack” Sparrow and friends, then you are going to have to fork over $5.99 for the level kit and another $5.99 for the costumes. Separate costumes will be sold for $1.99 each - the standard for LittleBigPlanet costumes. The Pirates of the Caribbean level pack will release on December 22, and only be available through the Playstation Store.
