The London Games Festival has announced details of its summit programme which will take place next month.

Attendees can look forward to summits covering virtual reality, eSports, games finance, games culture and games audio, with tickets on sale now at a special £10 price for students.

The five Summits are:

Virtual Reality Summit (Monday, 4 April, BFI Southbank)

The VR Summit will look at where the roads of games, film and VFX collide with talks from experts across all three fields showcasing the hottest new games and discussing the issues presented by the resurgent virtual reality space.

Games Audio Summit (Monday, 4 April, BFI Southbank)

The audio scene in games development is one of the industry’s most creative communities and the Games Audio Summit will tap into that with talks looking at innovative uses of music, sound effects, and voice work for interactive projects.

Games Finance Summit (Tuesday 5 April, The Grange City Hotel)

A prelude to the first-of-its-kind Games Finance Market, the Games Finance Summit will offer developers of all experience levels insight into funding types, speaking to investors and ways to unlock financial support.

eSports Summit (Wednesday, 6 April, BAFTA)

An invite-only event that looks at The Future of eSports – why competitive gaming is one of the most closely-watched growth areas in video games, how to encourage better treatment of players, and opportunities for non-games companies in the space.

Games Culture Summit (Friday 8 April, Museum of London)

Drawing together leading cultural institutions and creative leaders, the Games Culture Summit will look at a variety of issues including how galleries and museums curate, collect and archive games.
