Sprawling Wild West prequel Red Dead Redemption 2 will ship on two discs, according to fresh evidence provided by a Canadian YouTuber.

Murmurs that Rockstar Games’ cowboy-’em-up would eat up two Blu-rays emerged last week, when screenshots of the Japanese box art seemed to confirm it would feature two discs. While the game’s developer still hasn’t confirmed as much, these latest shots pretty much speak for themselves. Or maybe it’s just a very clever hoax.

Still, as nothing has been confirmed, I should probably do the whole ’take this with a pinch of salt’ thing just in case. So, yeah, there we go.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is due out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 26, and you can now preload the game if you pre-ordered the digital version. Be sure to lasso yourself the launch trailer, as it’s now out in the wild.

Last thing I’m going to speak on since people are just dying to know. Red Dead Redemption 2 does have a double disc. The first disc is a “Data Disc” and the second is a “Play Disc”. Probably have to just install first disc. Game does come with a map which I will not share. pic.twitter.com/VnIq2HF8zf
