Flying Wild Hog might be announcing a new Shadow Warrior game in the near future, owing to a new post from the game’s social media account.
Devolver Digital is the publisher of the Shadow Warrior series, and it announced that this year’s Devolver Direct will be held on July 11. We could expect that the trailer for the new Shadow Warrior title to release before that event, with gameplay to premiere in the presentation. That’s only conjecture, and we’ll have to wait and see what Flying Wild Hog has in store.
It would be weird to tease a teaser trailer if there isn’t a new entry in the works, so it’s a safe bet that Shadow Warrior will return. Additionally, the developer revealed that it has three new games waiting in the wings earlier this year. Our DNA is to experiment, to always look for something new. So, we will definitely not abandon the first-person shooter space but we really want to expand our approach,” said CEO MichaÅ‚ Szustak. The first and second games are “full triple-A” standard, and the third game is an “original action” experience. And, when asked whether these games would be coming to the next generation, Szustak kept shtum.
