It’s already proving popular in the days leading up to release - with over 532,000 concurrents on Steam for those who have early access.
For everyone else, you’ll be waiting for the full free-to-play release on Friday - and this page will explain the Lost Ark release time in your region.
When does Lost Ark release? Lost Ark release time in UK / GMT, CEST, EST and PST
Lost Ark was made available in early access for purchasers of the founders edition on Tuesday, February 8th, and will see a full Lost Ark release date on Friday, February 11th for all players.
The Lost Ark release time is as follows:
- UK: 5pm (GMT)
- Europe: 6pm (CEST)
- East Coast US: 12pm (EST)
- West Coast US: 9am (PST)
This means for those in Europe, you’ll be able to make a start when the working day ends and the weekend begins.
It’s worth stressing following the popularity of the early access release this week, it’s possible there will be some launch issues in the hours following release.
Our recommendation is to get preloading now, and being patient during the opening weekend in the event of any server issues or queues ahead of playing.
How big is the Lost Ark download size?
Even if you don’t have a founders park and early access to Lost Ark, you are still able to preload the game via Steam ahead of the full release on Friday.
The Lost Ark download size is 57.1GB - about what you’d expect from an MMO - and it’s recommended you make a start on preloading now to ensure you can start playing as soon as the game launches - servers and queuing permitting, of course.
