The two new classes will arrive separately, with one in April and the other in May. The first new class we’ll get in Lost Ark is Glaivier, which is a new Martial Artist class. The Glaivier “slices and dices her way through the battlefield, weaving together attacks with her spear in glaive.” This class will also have two skill sets, Focus and Flurry, each set represented by one of two weapons. The other Martial Artist Classes are the Wardancer, Soulfist, Striker, and Scrapper, making Glaivier the fifth class.

In May, the new Warrior class called the Destroyer will arrive in Lost Ark. Warriors have a “cataclysmic impact” on the game, which Smilegate RPG promises is embodied in this hammer swinging beast of a character. The character is “armed with a variety of skills centered around charging into the heart of the gray,” with their attacks able to “bend gravity to their will.” Enemies can be slowed, launched, pushed, pulled around, and ultimately destroyed. The other Advanced Warrior Classes are the Berserker, Paladin, and Gunlancer.

A brand new continent

Lost Ark players that are item level 1340 and above have more new content to look forward to as well. A second Tier 3 continent will become available, joining Punika. This continent will bring a new story into the game, reintroducing Ealyn, the Queen of Vern. According to the plot synopsis, you’ll be sent to investigate the once peaceful continent following the events that took place in Vern.

Players will gain more information about this new continent in the future, but it will arrive sometime in April. Some quality of life changes will arrive around that same time, including improved co-op for Secret Map hunting, improved chat, and new Book of Coordination settings.

In May, we’ll get a new Trial Guardian Raids mode, which will be a new weekly activity for players to enjoy. Each week, players can go up against three “Trial Guardians.” These Guardian each have a different item level to enter, and each Guardian will rotate out and be replaced by a new Guardian. Trial Guardian Raids differ from regular Guardian Raids by applying the “Scale of Harmony,” which scales down your item level to the appropriate enemy. There will also be a new regular Guardian Raid, Deskaluda, and a new legion raid, Valtan. You’ll need to be Item Level 1415 to participate in both fights.

Note: The information for the Lost Ark roadmap is tentative, and is not indicative of all the content that should release in the upcoming months. Keep a close eye out for more information about the new updates coming to the game. In the meantime, check out our Lost Ark guides hub for some great tips and breakdowns.
