Netflix has confirmed it’ll be going ahead with a Season 4 of anime anthology series Love, Death & Robots.

The streamer confirmed the news via its social media accounts this past weekend. It didn’t share a ton of details, like a date, writers or what we can expect to see. But it did confirm the series is officially in production.

Of couse, excitement is high for a Season 4 of Love, Death & Robots. Here’s what we know so far.

Love, Death & Robots Season 4 – predicted release date

The very first season of the show was released back in March of 2019. A renewal announcement didn’t come until three months later. Conversely, the third season was announced before Season 2’s launch in May of 2021.

At the time of writing, the third series is currently sitting pretty on Rotten Tomatoes with a critic score of 100% and an audience score of 84%. Entitled Life, Death & Robots Volume 3, it included nine new standalone stories across a range of genres. This time around also included the anthology’s first sequel in the form of ‘Exit Strategies’.

Speaking to IGN back in 2021, co-creator (and Deadpool director) Tim Miller said the team was certainly into the idea of doing four volumes and beyond.

Director Jennifer Yuh Nelson added of the idea of continuing: “We can get even better stories and give people more of what they want is a huge, fun ride.”

As for when it’s likely to come out –  given the first season arrived in March 2019, and the second and third followed in subsequent years, the hope is that a potential Love, Death & Robots Season 4 will arrive in 2023.

We’ll let you know about any updates on Love, Death & Robots Season 4 as we hear them.
