Lumia Saga is a lighthearted MMORPG that will be landing on mobile devices this December.

If you’re an MMORPG enthusiast whose preferred method of gaming is on a phone, then you just might be the most excited person in all of gaming. The current selection of games in the genre isn’t great, but all that is about to change. Massive titles such as Warhammer Odyssey, Black Desert Mobile, and Lineage 2 M are all making their way onto iOS and Android in the near future. Spiritwish was also recently released by Nexon, and it looks like we have to add one more title to the MMORPG party — Lumia Saga.

Like many of the games listed above, Lumia Saga has already been released in several Eastern markets. It boasts over 1 million downloads and has become a successful game in most of the countries it is available — SensorTower shows the game sitting at a rating of 4.5/5.0 stars with over 50,000 user reviews. The title also raked in $200k in revenue for the month of October.

Lumia Saga sets itself apart from most other MMO titles with its decidedly cartoonish graphics. While most other games are trying to rival the graphical quality of consoles, Century Game and FunPlus opted to go with something different for their game — and the results look fantastic.

Players will choose one of eight classes to play as — Knight, Swordsman, Adjudicator, Mage, Guardian, Warlock, Scholar, Oracle — although you will be able to change classes if the situation calls for it. Lumia Saga also features a Living Skill system where players can choose a “job” as a botanist, alchemist, or cook. These will offer bonuses outside of combat, similar to most crafting/gathering professions in other MMORPGs.

The game is free-to-play and will include over 300 different skins to personalize your character. Players can also customize facial features and even their facial expression. The usual assortment of pets, mounts, and equipment can all be collected as you level up.

Lumia Saga will launch December 13th on Android and iOS. Pre-registration is now available.
