2K has revealed the line-up of free and premium content heading to Mafia 3 following its launch next month, including a range of new story expansions, races, and customisation options.
FREE:
New outfits: The ability to change Lincoln’s outfits. Two revealed so far include a suit and army uniform.
New weapons: The Judge, Jury and Executioner pre-order pack will be available for free to everyone 30 days after launch.
More vehicle customisation: An expansion to Mafia 3’s vehicle customisation promises to add further cosmetic and performance upgrade options.
Races: A series of races that will let you earn money, new car customisation options and “other awesome rewards”.
PREMIUM STORY EXPANSIONS:
Faster, Baby!: Fast cars, dramatic chases, and stunt driving take center stage as Lincoln joins forces with his former flame, Roxy Laveau, to take down a corrupt Sheriff terrorizing Civil Rights activists on the outskirts of New Bordeaux.
Sign of the Times: A string of ritualistic killings has New Bordeaux on the edge of terror. At Father James’ request, Lincoln agrees to hunt down the cult responsible, a quest that will take him from the dark heart of the old bayou to the drug-ridden counterculture of the inner city.
Stones Unturned: When a merciless rival resurfaces in New Bordeaux, Lincoln must join forces with CIA agent John Donovan to settle a blood feud that began in the war-torn jungles of Vietnam.
Each story expansion promises to be a “wholly separate experience” that reveals more about Lincoln’s time in New Bordeaux. “As these stories will reveal, the Italian Mafia isn’t the only threat Lincoln faces.” Concept art for each of the three story expansions can be seen over on the game’s official website.
All three story expansions are included as part of the game’s $29.99 Season Pass, which 2K says offers a $10 saving over buying them separately.
Mafia 3 launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 7.
