2K Games and Hangar 13 have announced Mafia: Trilogy, and it’s on its way to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

2K Games guarantees that more information about Mafia: Trilogy will be released on May 19, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled.

This is looking like a remastered collection of Mafia, Mafia 2, and Mafia 3. Rumours of remasters swirled when Take-Two Interactive submitted three trademarks in relation to the Mafia IP in the latter half of last year. The font didn’t match the games’ logos, though, which added fuel to the fire that there may be a new Mafia game in the works. However, Hangar 13 stopped work on a Mafia 4 in favour of building “new IP” in a new open world game. It is clear now, in the teaser trailer for Mafia: Trilogy, that we will be returning to Lost Heaven, Empire Bay, and New Bordeaux.
