Magic Find is a magical property in Diablo 2 Resurrected that defines and decides an item’s ability to improve chances of locating and getting Unique, Magic, and other Rare loot and utility in-game. In simple terms, it increases the chances of dropping better loot on an item. While Magic Find increases your drop chances, the items dropped don’t increase and neither does the 50% chance directly affect an item’s quality. What increases here is the percentage chance of the item being dropped. For eg, If you’ve got a 10% chance of getting a unique item drop and your Magic Find is at 50%, you get a 50% increment of 10% i.e 10%+5% which is a 15% chance of the item being unique. How to Use Magic Find
Your items have magic find properties on them, however, you can boost these using socketed Ist runes or Topazes. Furthermore, using Jewels as the Emeral Jewel of Prosperity can land you a nice juicy Magic Find boost. Furthermore, if you feel you’ve incorrectly applied a jewel or Topaz, you can choose to unsocket jewels and other items in D2R as well.
