Camelot has served up a major Mario Tennis Aces update overnight, bringing with it a host of balance changes and a new co-op challenge for Mazza’s latest sports romp.

Ring Shot is one of the biggest additions arriving with Mario Tennis Aces update 3.0, and can be found on the main menu. You’ll be able to tuck into Singles, Doubles, and Yoshi’s Ring Shot, all of which can be experienced with up to four players on a single Switch console.

Meanwhile, Yoshi’s Ring Shot is the latest co-op offering for Mario Tennis Aces, and is available until June 1. This gives you the chance to get your paws on three more Yoshi colours, namely pink, orange, and light blue.

The update has also rolled out a fresh intro cutscene for the game’s Adventure Mode, while the new Aces rank is now available in online tournament mode. Be sure to have a look at the full patch notes here.

Mario Tennis Aces came out on Switch last summer.
