Marvel Cinematic Universe Films Have Grossed Over 10 Billion Worldwide

The 13 films released inside the Marvel Cinematic Universe have grossed more than $10 billion worldwide, with the milestone reached after the latest box office takings for Captain America: Civil War.

The Captain America film took $72.5 million on its second weekend in the US, and $84.2M in international territories, bringing its total to $940.9 million and set to break the billion mark.

Only Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Marvel’s The Avengers have taken more money worldwide out of the 13 movies released to date.
