Marvel’s Avengers may be one of 2020’s most-anticipated games at the moment, but Marvel will be revealing another title if the PAX East schedule is any indication.

PAX East is coming up soon and is chock-full of panels and events covering gaming and the history thereof. Among the scheduled events is one titled the “Marvel Mystery Panel.” Not much information is given on the panel beyond a description that invites prospective viewers to preview “an exciting new project” from Marvel and gaming company Netmarble.

We can’t know for sure what the Marvel Mystery Panel entails, but it likely will involve the unveiling of a new game in a collaboration between Marvel.

For anyone interested, the Marvel Mystery Panel will take place Sunday, March 1st.

Many are familiar with Marvel’s properties, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, The Avengers, and others. However, some may not know of Netmarble or its games. Netmarble is a South Korean publisher and developer behind a number of mobile games, including the likes of Star Wars: Force Arena, YS Online, Dragon Ball Online, Disney Magical Dice, and Assault Gear.

Interestingly, Netmarble is also behind the development of Marvel: Future Fight, a 2015 mobile game with RPG elements. The game allows players to play as characters from a selection of over 200 Marvel characters.

As for the mystery that will be unveiled by Marvel and Netmarble, there is likely another mobile game on the docket given Netmarble’s portfolio. Whether it will have gameplay similar to Marvel: Future Fight is unknown.

Perhaps, Netmarble and Marvel’s collaboration will supplement the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers game for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It may do so before Marvel’s Avengers’ September release, as the game had been delayed so it can be touched up. Thus, Marvel may release an accompanying mobile game in the meantime.

Otherwise, Netmarble may be developing a Black Widow game. Given that Black Widow is hitting theaters in Spring, Netmarble and Marvel might be collaborating to deliver mobile Black Widow game that may tie in with the movie somehow.

Hopefully, all will be revealed at the Marvel Mystery Panel.
