It’s May the 4th, which means it’s your annual day of Star Wars celebrations. Generally, the day is paired with fans talking about what they love (and hate) about the franchise. Game developers tend to announce themed DLC for existing games in the series. But for those who are looking to expand their library, there are also some sales available, offering massive discounts on dozens of Star Wars games new and old.

Multiple storefronts are discounting Star Wars games in various sales today. Steam and GOG are likely going to be the go-to places, but there are also options such as Gamebillet, the Humble store, and Indiegala joining in on the celebration of Star Wars and of you spending money. The Meta store is also selling some VR games like Vader Immortal and Star Wars Pinball VR. Both are going for around half price.

Some of the best Star Wars games of recent years are going on sale today. The familiar yet enjoyable Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is 75% off on Steam, going for an impressively low $9.99 USD. Star Wars Squadrons is getting the same deal and price, as well. The oft-maligned Battlefront II is on sale for 80% off, at $7.99 USD for the Celebration Edition. So far, the most recent game, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, is one of the few games in the franchise not on sale.

Long, long ago…

As mentioned, there are also some classic Star Wars games on sale today. The original two Star Wars Battlefront games, the ones everyone loves, are going for $3.99 USD and $3.49 USD respectfully. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is 65% off at $3.49 USD. Steam also has the entire Jedi Knight collection bundled up for 74% off at $9.15 USD. There’s also the excellent Republic Commando, a personal favorite, on sale for $3.49 USD.

It’s a pretty good day to be a Star Wars fan with some excess cash. There are plenty of digital storefronts to peruse, allowing you to fill out the remainder of your collection if you so choose.
