“Me Time”, the brand new Netflix comedy starring Hollywood superstars, Kevin Hart, and Mark Wahlberg, which cost the streamer around $50 million+ to make, is, as the title suggests, a record breaking movie.But, calling it record breaking, while accurate, is not the kind of records that either Netflix or its stars really want…As instead of sweeping up comedy awards or acting awards or awards for any of the movie’s crew. It instead has the dubious honour of being the lowest critically rated movie in Kevin Hart’s career, Mark Wahlberg’s career, and Director/Producer/Writer John Hamburg’s (“Along Came Polly”, “I Love you, Man”, and “Why Him?”) career. For Kevin Hart, this is just 2% below his 2nd lowest scoring film, “Little Fockers“, another movie produced and written by Hamburg.
While, for Mark Wahlberg, the movie is 5% below his second lowest scoring movie, “Renaissance Man“.
While, for John Hamburg, like Kevin Hart, the movie is 2% below his second lowest scoring movie, which is also, “Little Fockers“.

It feels safe to say, given that this is not the first high profile failure of a big budget original comedy for Netflix, that they may be somewhat more cautious in choosing their next projects.
