UPDATE 14:45 Atlus USA has just confirmed in a tweet that it will indeed be bringing Catherine: Full Body to the West and has launched the English-language version’s website. Details other than that are slim, but it’s good to know:
ORIGINAL STORY FOLLOWS: Earlier in the week it was announced that Catherine: Full Body, a remake and update of 2012 adventure puzzler Catherine, was in development for PlayStation 4 and the PS Vita. Now, the first Japanese trailer has been released, and it gives us our first glimpse at the new, third potential love interest named Rin.
If the love triangle with Catherine and Katherine wasn’t enough, imagine when new character Rin enters Vincent’s love life. Catherine: Full Body has been confirmed for the West! Check out the teaser site at https://t.co/C103xhUnnS pic.twitter.com/9spDJGG3nT

She’s a piano player at the Stray Sheep bar in the game before she gets caught up in the story. You can see the trailer below, featuring Rin in a cute pink bob.
Kotaku UK notes that the Catherine: Full Body website makes repeated use of a transgender symbol in connection with Rin, indicating she may be a trans character. However, the promotional material seems to make a big deal of Rin holding up her skirt and Laura Dale points out in her piece that the original Catherine has a ‘poor track record with trans representation’, neither of which are good indicators for how this romance may be handled.
As well as also providing us a glimpse at some of the new additions to the game’s puzzle aspect, the trailer also reveals that the game is aiming for a release, in Japan at least, next Winter.
