Konami has released an in-depth 30-minute video, showcasing Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain’s Mother Base.

If you want to keep your MGS5 experience completely spoiler free you might want to give it a miss, as it goes into a lot of detail, including how you expand Mother Base and recruit Diamond Dogs.

While the micro-management of Mother Base will be an enticing gameplay mechanic for many, if you’d rather focus on the core MGS missions you can leave the whole thing in the hands of your No.2, Miller (no, not that Miller).

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is due for release on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 1. Metal Gear Online will launch on October 6 on consoles, with PC gamers having to wait until January 2016.
