If you’re one of the many gamers looking for a thrilling and suspenseful romp in a post-apocalyptic world, then you’ve definitely played the Metro games. The Metro franchise, along with S.T.A.L.K.E.R., pretty much captures the essence of horror, action, and survival set in a bleak future. Metro Exodus, the third game in the series, continues that tradition and you can pre-order the game now. Sadly, it looks like the Aurora Edition isn’t available for majority of PC players just yet.

Metro Exodus – Where’s our Aurora Edition?

Continuing where Metro: Last Light left off, Exodus will follow the chronicles of Artyom. Along the way, Artyom will be aided by his new wife Anna. In this harsh landscape, he’ll be facing off against mutants, raiders, and dire scavengers. Artyom will also journey aboard the Aurora locomotive to kickstart his trials.

The Standard and Gold Editions for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC are available for pre-order starting today. Likewise, the Aurora Edition, which is physical-only and seen in the video above, is also up for grabs. That one contains the game, the expansion pass, a steelbook, an artbook, and a gorgeous Aurora-themed casing. There’s just one problem — if you’re on PC, all those goodies are limited to a few countries at the moment. Attempting to pre-order the Aurora Edition via the official website and setting it for PC would leave you with a blank image and “no retailers found.” That is, unless you live in the Netherlands, Belgium, or Ireland with some retailers already listed down.

It’s such a shame given that many of us began our journey in the dire wastelands of future-Russia on PC. We’re sure that many more collectors would love to get their hands on the Aurora Edition as well.

Please note that pre-ordering the Standard or Gold Edition for PC will still include the digital artbook and soundtrack. You can pre-order via Steam as well.

Here’s to hoping that developer 4A Games and publisher Deep Silver eventually announce the Aurora Edition’s availability for PC users around the globe. Metro Exodus is still a ways off, releasing on February 23, 2019. There’s still some time left to whet the appetites of the physical/limited-edition collectors among us.
