Microsoft kicked off the first day of E3 conferences with a strong showing. Opening the show with news that the Xbox One is now backwards compatible was met with rapturous applause (although, you only have to say “hi” to get an applause during an E3 conference), and continued to make announcements of its strong first party lineup for 2015 and beyond.
