Microsoft has revealed that it will kick off its E3 2019 presser on June 9 at 9.00pm BST, which is the Sunday before the Los Angeles games event officially gets underway.

As per usual, the Xbox console maker will stream the event live via YouTube, Twitch, Mixer, Twitter, and good old Facebook. As for the press event itself, Microsoft is obviously keeping details close to its chest, but has promised ’exclusive announcements, game demos, interviews, giveaways, and more.'

Gears 5 is due out this year, so expect some details on that game for sure, and it’d be nice to see a bit more Halo Infinite, too. Of course, there’s no telling what new IP Microsoft has up its sleeve, so expect some surprises, too.

Still, it’s impossible to mention E3 without talking about Microsoft’s next-generation console. According to murmurs, the company will unveil its new hardware at the event, which is rumoured to come in two configurations: the Xbox Anaconda and the Xbox Lockhart.

With Sony already revealing some of the first details on PlayStation 5 but also skipping E3, Microsoft now has a chance to drum up some hype of its own.
