Microsoft is bringing back its “Xbox All Access” financing plan this holiday season. A way to subsidize the purchase of your console, Xbox All Access gives users multiple plans for grabbing a console according to their budgets. For $22.99 a month (after signing a two-year agreement), buyers will receive an Xbox One S console with two years of Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass. $30.99 a month will get you an Xbox One X with Live and Game Pass....

Third-party developers have released new assets about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator today. We start with DC Designs and its publisher Just Flight, which published new screenshots of Concorde, for which we also get a detailed development update. Next, from Pilot Experience Sim, we get a few new screenshots of Ajaccio Napoleon Bonaparte Airport (LFKJ), one of the main airports serving the French island of Corsica. “Currently, I have finished animating and coding most of the switches on the flight deck for functionality in terms of being able to manipulate them, and have also completed most of the decal work ( there are no texts direct onto surfaces, all labels are hi-res decals in Concorde )....

Work has begun again on an eye-catching fan remake of cult classic The Simpsons: Hit & Run - now with a round of impressive new features. A fresh video detailing work on the project has revealed the remake’s newly-stitched-together open world, and promises further additions in future - such as improvements to the game’s vehicles, the addition of online multiplayer, a quest system and revamped graphics. The project’s re-emergence now is a little surprising, since an earlier version was previously pulled offline from creator Reuben “Reubs” Ward’s Patreon to avoid getting into any potential legal issues....

Artist Bosslogic has created a post showing what Starr might look like as Wesker from Resident Evil. As can be seen in Bosslogic’s art, Starr fits the role perfectly, and looks very similar to Wesker from the games. Bosslogic, who has 1.6 million followers on Instagram, has made a name for himself through his fan-made movie posters and the like. One of the more recent and notable projects from Bosslogic sees the Mortal Kombat movie cast imagined as the characters they will play in the upcoming film reboot....

Indie game marketplace itch.io has taken a hard stance against NFTs following the Team17 MetaWorms controversy last week. The official itch.io Twitter account made the company’s feelings clear over the weekend. “NFTs are a scam. If you think they are legitimately useful for anything other than the exploitation of creators, financial scams, and the destruction of the planet the we ask that you please re-evaluate your life choices.” itch.io would follow up it’s statement with....

Crawling to the Steam store later this December is Clid the Snail, a top-down shooter about the world’s grumpiest, laziest, yet deadliest snail. The only way a snail could be dangerous is if you arm it with a gun, and that looks to be the case with Clid. Granted, it’s sort of hard to tell that Clid is actually a snail. And it looks like Clid has two feet to stand on, rather than crawling on its belly like all the other snails....

The One Piece Film Red anime movie is one heck of a trip for long-time fans of the series. Not only does it put Shanks and the Red Hair Pirates front and center, but it also introduces Uta; who, by all intents and purposes, is considered Shanks’ daughter. If you’re like most discerning fans though, you’ve probably been left wondering: Is Uta Shanks’ real daughter in One Piece Film Red, or is their relationship a little less simple than sharing a bond by blood?...

It looks like Gotham Knights may be expanding its co-op plans to encompass four player co-op instead of just two. That’s according to an eagle-eyed fan on Reddit (thanks, PCGN) who spotted that the PSN Store’s listing of the game has been updated to state it supports “four network players”. Acutely aware that anyone can knock up a fake screenshot, I took the liberty of checking the PSN Store listing myself and yup, it’s there in black and white, although the description itself curiously still says you can play “in solo-play or with one other hero and drop in on criminal activity wherever you find it”....

The final part of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean will release on Dec. 1 with 14 new episodes on Netflix. Fans also received a sneak peek of the key art visual of the series, showcasing the latest group of characters. In the first 24 episodes of Stone Ocean, fans were introduced to the new gang, where Jolyne Cujoh continues on the legacy of the Joestar family. The storyline takes place 10 years after the Golden Wind arc and is set in the Green Dolphin Street Prison....

Jude Law appears ready to wear one of the most iconic pirate hook hands in history, with Disney now in talks with the actor to play the role of Captain Hook in a live-action Peter Pan reboot. Peter Pan & Wendy, Disney’s gestating big screen reimagining of its classic 1953 animated Peter Pan feature adaptation, has Law in talks to play the J.M. Barrie novel-adapted story’s infamous antagonist, Captain Hook, reports Variety....

Square Enix announced that Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road is delayed and will not make its scheduled spring release (via Siliconera). Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road is a standalone game that is playable within the Kingdom Hearts Union χ app, which is already available. The story centres around Xehanort, the major villain of the Kingdom Hearts series, but explores the time before he became a Seeker of Darkness. The game will also use fast, reflex-based combat mechanics, and will sync points in exchange for battle cards in the Union χ medal album....

We still don’t have a release date for trippy brawler Kung Fu Jesus, but we at least have this new music video. The whole point of Kung Fu Jesus still eludes us. On the surface, it appears to be a pretty standard brawler game where you play as a dude wearing a Raiden-style hat and who knows Kung Fu, but every single time Celestial Gold Studios releases a new trailer, we’re right back to being as confused as we were when the game was announced last September....

British actress Lauren Cohan apparently enjoys being put through the emotional wringer at work: as Maggie on The Walking Dead, she has dealt with the brutal murder of her husband, the equally gruesome death of her father and the terror of carrying an unborn child while battling hordes of zombies and armies of sadistic humans. In Mile 22, she takes a different approach with her character, Alice Kerr, a deadly covert operative who also happens to be a divorced mother....

The League of Legends patch 10.11 update is here. Riot Games seems dead set in ushering in the ADC meta, buffing pretty much all marksmen and even giving buffs to ADCs that work in solo lanes. Following this, Zeal is getting major buffs this and next patch, and I would bet we’ll see a whole lot more play to Yasuo, Graves, and Quinn following patch 10.12 and beyond. EA and Zoink have announced that gothic dice-based action adventure Lost in Random will release next month. The game was first revealed during last year’s EA Play Live broadcast, while new gameplay as well as the release date were shown as part of this year’s show. Manifest Season 2 Episode 6 It’s been awhile since Manifest went with the “passenger-of-the-week” formula, but the story of Finn Nowak and the family he didn’t know he had hit all the right emotional notes in “Return Trip.” When placed alongside the courtship of Olive and TJ, the overall narrative this week becomes quite poignant, and the revelations brought about by the Tarot card research still moves the mythology forward even if Saanvi’s dangerous medical tests haven’t yet born fruit....
