Trigun Stampede may bring a slew of changes to the beloved series, but some recent announcements regarding the new series’ dub should be reason to celebrate for long-time fans. In a news release put out by Crunchyroll on Jan. 12, it was revealed that the English dub for the new series would premiere on Jan. 21, with dubbed episodes releasing weekly from that point on. The dub is confirmed for release on Chrunchyroll, and will likely be available on other streaming platforms where Trigun Stampede is available....

In not-all-that-surprising news, Mafia 3 developer Hangar 13 has confirmed work is underway on a new Mafia title. The confirmation came over the weekend from studio general manager Roman Hladík, in an interview celebrating 20 years of the series. It was reported back in May this year that a fresh Mafia game was indeed in development at Hangar 13, and that it would apparently be set before the existing Mafia trilogy....

Your Galactic Readiness will dictate your survivability stats in Mass Effect 3. With a higher Galactic Readiness, you will be able to get through the Trilogy easier. Nintendo is gradually making improvements to the Nintendo 64 app for Switch Online players. Last week the addition of Banjo-Kazooie to the service came with a 1.2 update for the app that made some changes, including reduced input lag. According to YouTube channel Modern Vintage Gamer, the input lag has been significantly improved across the board. “The input lag has had some work,” he said. “It’s certainly not fixed, but it is better than the original release and it does show me that Nintendo is listening, or at least reading the feedback and trying to address these things....

Jai Courtney, who plays Boomerang in next month’s Suicide Squad movie, has revealed the extreme actions he took to prepare for the role. Speaking to Empire (and reported by Yahoo), Courtney revealed that he once took mushrooms before a Skype call with director David Ayer and proceeded to self harm using a cigarette. “That night I happened to eat some mushrooms,” he explained, “and I did self-inflict some burns.” Courtney’s self harm is the latest in a series of bizarre actions taken by the film’s cast to get themselves ready for their respective roles....
