The creators of Dreams are considering a PC port, among other big plans for their game creator. If you haven’t heard of Dreams by now, you really should. It won the award for most original game at this year’s Gamescom and has been the subject of several interesting projects since it’s release on PS4 Early access last April. Dreams is a sandbox game along the same lines as Little Big Planet, which is appropriate since it’s made by the same developer: Media Molecule....

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater was a stonking game; I know this, you know this. Konami apparently does too, they’re attempting to sway people back into Metal Gear Survive next week with a new co-op event based on the 2004 stealth-action title. The Encounter 1964 will launch on April 10 and runs for two weeks, introducing a range of iconic clobber from Hideo Kojima’s PlayStation 2 behemoth, such as the Crocodile Cap, Naked Snake’s camo fatigues, and Eva’s jumpsuit among others....

Oh my! It seems two experts of the written word will have a war of words of their own. The first shot comes from Dmitry Glukhovsky, author of the Metro 2033 series of novels. Glukhovsky slammed the author of The Witcher series, Andrzej Sapkowski, for the latter’s recent demand of $16 million from CD Projekt Red. Among the criticisms Glukhovsky dished out were that the brains behind The Witcher novels was an “old fool” and that he’s “an ungrateful schmuck....

Sid Meier’s Pirates! originally released in 1987. Although I missed out on this classic, I was able to play the 2004 remake on the Xbox and PC. Since that moment, I’ve looked for other games that could capture my imagination the same way that Pirates! did. Enter King of Seas, a new offering from developer 3DClouds and publisher Team17 that’s set to release tomorrow. At a glance, I noticed how it was heavily inspired by the classic and I was enticed to try it out....

Striking Distance Studios’ debut game, The Callisto Protocol, has reportedly failed to hit its sales targets, forcing Krafton’s investors to “lower their target stock prices”. That’s according to a translated article from Korean site MK Odyssey, which says the action horror - which cost 200 billion won (£132m / $161.5m) to make over three years - has affected parent company Krafton’s value “due to sales shortages”. According to Samsung Securities, Krafton expected to shift five million copies of The Callisto Protocol, but with just two million copies sold thus far, the stockbroker now thinks it “will not be easy” to hit that milestone....

To be fair, those older games are some of the most technically outdated in developer TT Games’ portfolio. Time, console hardware and game design have all moved on, and The Skywalker Saga now stands as very different beast. After a lengthy and somewhat troubled development, TT Games has at last completed its nine-film compilation - but that is only half the story. For as long as you spend on the game’s main film storylines, you can also spend just as long aimlessly wandering through the game’s expansive array of planets, undertaking in the series’ largest collectible hunt ever....

The since-removed listing was spotted by Lego fan site The Brick Fan (in turn spotted via Eurogamer), which describes a new “Adventures with Luigi” set that will allow owners of the Lego Super Mario set to expand their block collection with a new set featuring the green-suited plumber, who’ll have similar features to Mario and allow you to connect your sets to him. Funnily enough, it appears to be Lego themselves who first sowed the initial seeds that Luigi might be on the way to the sets, when those downloading a recent firmware update for the Mario figure in last year’s original Lego Super Mario set noted that Mario now cried out for his brother....

Little Nightmares 2 has finally released and it has plenty of collectibles that players will have to find throughout the game. Currently, there are 12 hats available in Little Nightmares 2 and you would need to go to a separate location to get them all. The newly added character Mono has one and you can get it at the beginning of the game while many can be earned for completing certain tasks and challenges....

There’s a moment in Nia DaCosta’s Little Woods where Lily James asks her on screen sister, Tessa Thompson, if she’ll be able to transfer pills across the Canadian border without getting caught. While Thompson offers a familiar confidence and charisma in her retort, James’ anxiety and a flutter in Thompson’s voice raises doubt. Uncertainty abounds as much as OxyContin pills in this story about crossing the Canadian border, but in the process, there becomes complete certainty that DaCosta is one of the most astute directors working in cinema today....

Just days after the release of NCAA Football 11, EA Sports has announced that the demo to its big brother, Madden NFL 11, will be coming out on July27th. This years demo is vastly different from Madden’s past. Unlike previous years, the upcoming demo, which features a match up between the Indianapolis Colts and New York Jets, will have full 5 minute quarters. Previous versions were limited to 2 minute quarters....

2K Games and Hangar 13 have released a new trailer showcasing the shiny new version of the game’s city of Lost Haven ahead of the release of Mafia: Definitive Edition later this month. A from-the-ground-up remake of the original Mafia game from 2002, this version includes all new game mechanics, new voice acting, new technology and more and Lost Haven itself has never looked better than in the brief trailer which you can see for yourself below....

Space Run developer Passtech Games has confirmed that its latest project, Masters of Anima, is rolling out for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch in Spring 2018. The action-adventure romp sees players following the quest of Otto, a powerful magic-wielder and apprentice of Anima, who must thwart a nefarious chap known as Zahr and rescue his fiance. Awww. Along the way you’ll face off against armies of Golems while using the powers of Anima to summon Guardians to fight for your cause....
