Today Developer SimulaM released a new video of its upcoming Jesus simulator I am Jesus Christ. In the video, we get to see another famous action by Jesus Christ in Jerusalem. Since it’s close to his arrest, it’s close to the end of the game. This time around, you can channel your inner divine vandal and “cleanse the temple” by destroying the tables of the merchants and money changers. Looks like this version of Jesus has a similar idea of “cleansing” as a Warhammer 40,000’s Space Marine....

Wrestling star John Cena is joining the Fortnite character roster, because of course he is. The hugely-popular wrestler turned movie star will join Epic Games’ battle royale as part of a WWE promotion that also emcompasses the publisher’s Rocket League and Fall Guys. Square Enix has announced that their upcoming action shooter sequel, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days will be hitting store shelves on August 24 in North America and August 27 throughout Europe. Publisher CI Games has given us a small new update on upcoming action RPG sequel Lords of the Fallen 2, unveiling the game’s logo, as well as confirming the game is in development for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. CI Games’ CEO Marek Tyminski said in a post on the publisher’s website that the game is “our largest project in terms of the whole of CI Games. LudoNarraCon aims to do exactly that for a second year in a row in April 2020. The project was first conceived by the organization known as Fellow Traveller, and they describe LudoNarraCon as a global digital convention that is held on the Steam platform, which means it virtually eliminates all costs associated with traditional exhibitions except for the time invested, and even that is drastically cut down for all parties....

Isometric adventure Lumo is getting a physical release on PS4 and PS Vita on September 9, publisher Rising Star Games has announced. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Pablo Schreiber has been cast as Master Chief in Showtime’s upcoming Halo TV series. No word yet on whether he’ll take his helmet off, though. Hulu is moving ahead with Dopesick, an 8-episode limited series focused on America’s opioid crisis, brandishing promising marquee names in headliner Michael Keaton, Oscar-winning director Barry Levinson, Emmy-winning writer/showrunner Danny Strong and veteran Emmy-winning producer Warren Littlefield. The series, a production of FOX 21 Television Studios eyed for 2021, adapts author Beth Macy’s 2018 journalistic book, Dopesick: Dealers, Doctors and the Drug Company that Addicted America. Hulu’s series, like the book, will focus on the ordeal of a Virginia mining town, with Keaton starring as Samuel Finnix, who’s described as “an old-school doctor who approaches his practice with kindness and compassion, but finds himself embroiled in Big Pharma’s deadly secret....
