Starfield is the latest open-world RPG from Bethesda Game Studios. It’s a game that, on paper, should be giving people plenty of reasons to get excited about it. Epic Games has officially confirmed that John Wick will be joining Fortnite in a new trailer that pits the character against The Reaper. The event, which is called Wick’s Bounty, is now live in-game. It appears that the theme of the High Table is front and center in the upcoming event, which will focus on offering up bounties against players holding the golden coins from the series. New cosmetics are available through a combination of purchases in-game and through the event itself....

Build-your-own-dino-park simulator Jurassic World Evolution will launch digitally for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on June 12 followed by a physical release on July 3, Frontier Developments has announced. The launch window is, unsurprisingly, in close proximity to the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, with the Chris Pratt-starring flick hitting cinemas on June 7 in the UK and June 22 in the US. Frontier also confirmed that pre-orders for Jurassic World Evolution are now open on PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE, and Steam, with early adopters netting a platform-exclusive chopper and off-road vehicle skin....

Rocksteady’s next outing in the Batman: Arkhamverse is set to debut in 2023 with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a game that stars the titular team having to go up against a mind-controlled Justice League. A new trailer was showcased at the Game Awards, announcing that the late great Kevin Conroy’s final outing as the character will be in this very game. For those who didn’t know, Kevin Conroy, the iconic voice of Batman in the Arkham series, Batman: The Animated Series, and many other places, passed away in November....

Popular Japanese manga publisher Kodansha has made waves in gaming recently with its Kodansha Game Creators Lab initiative, and it’s almost time to see the results. The rocky road of development of action RPG sequel Lords of the Fallen 2 appears to have hit another speedbump today, as CI Games and Defiant Studios appear to have come to blows resulting in the latter studio being removed from the project. In a Polish press release by CI Games spotted and translated by Eurogamer, CI Games claims that Defiant – who were only brought onto the game just under a year ago – submitted a vertical slice for the game that was below par, resulting in the termination of the agreement....

For casters who love to stream, there’s some good news for TrackMania 2 and ShootMania players as Nadeo and Ubisoft reveal the addition of Twitch integration into the games. Casters can stream directly from a match while in spectator mode to take advantage of the follow function and different camera angles available in that view. A video has been released to demonstrate how it will all work.

Nintendo has finally remembered that making Mario Kart DLC is a thing it can do and a thing we (or I, at least) would very much like; to that end, it will be bringing a whopping 48 new courses to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as paid DLC, starting on 18th March. These 48 courses will be pulled from all across the Mario Kart series, with each track being remastered to imbue it with some of that glorious Mario Kart 8 polish - and if Nintendo’s previous Mario Kart DLC efforts are any indication, these will be some glorious things indeed....

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition, the upcoming remastered version of the Mass Effect Trilogy is here. It brings Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 together in one launcher. There will be over 40 single-player DLCs from all three titles. Improved versions, shaders, effects, illumination, and depth of field are among the visual enhancements. Mac Walters, one of the architects of BioWare’s Mass Effect franchise, has moved on from EA’s famed RPG studio. Walters publicly confirmed his departure over the weekend, after more than 19 years at the company. Beginning as a writer on Jade Empire, Walters took a more senior role on the original Mass Effect, before serving as lead writer for the trilogy’s second and third installments. “With a new year comes new adventures,” Walters wrote in a post on LinkedIn....
