Dreams runs on the PlayStation 5, and Media Molecule is “exploring” the possibilities of porting the game to the next generation (via USGamer.net). The game and sandbox software launched today, but people have been making incredible things with it since it started its early access period in 2019. Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida loves what he sees in Dreams, describing it as one of his “favourite projects ever,” and the developer was seeking content creators to make games with the studio to secure the ten year vision for the game creation system....

Metro: Exodus is receiving a Collector’s Edition featuring a bunch of physical goodies, though it’s missing one key ingredient: a copy of the game. Sadly this is something that is happening all too often lately. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Red Dead Redemption 2, and other big titles have gotten special editions that fail to include the actual game, and are more than often pretty expensive. As for Metro, the pack includes a premium quality Artyom statue, an authentic Spartan Order dog tag, a bunch of collectible postcards titled Artyom’s Memories, and Spartan Order patches....

Asobo Studio released a development news update for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and it includes a lot of new details that should be of key interest to players. The main takeaway from it are details surrounding patch #2, which is set to address major issues with the sim such as performance hiccups, live weather bugs, and much more. It will tackle problems that the community has been the most annoyed by, and will come ”within the next days....

However, it was confirmed during D23 that Daredevil will indeed be in She-Hulk. His appearance was first teased in a She-Hulk trailer, where we got a glimpse of what looked suspiciously like Daredevil’s suit and his iconic batons by his side. The last of four trailers showcasing the multiplayer in Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days has been released and it’s more of a “normal” mode. That is to say, it’s a good ol’ fashioned cops and robbers multiplayer mode. The premise remains the same, the six robbers try to make off with $4 million in four minutes, only this time, real life human players controlling six cops are trying to stop them....

A copy of Kid Icarus for the Nintendo Entertainment System that was once worth less than $40 is now set to rake in thousands at an auction, after being discovered by accident in an attic. According to Time, a Nevada man named Scott Reno found a sealed copy of Kid Icarus in his attic, which still had its receipt for $38.45. Reno investigated the value of the game in the hope that it might be worth a few hundred dollars, but it’s expected to potentially bring in around $10,000 dollars at auction....

In a new post on the PlayStation blog, Cory Barlog, the game director on the project, talks about the concept and development of Atreus, Kratos’s son in next year’s God of War. Atreus is played by Sunny Suljic, a real life actual child, who had his face scanned for the part. Barlog says, ‘He looked exactly like I imagined Atreus should look,’ and adds ‘He has these big blue eyes and that look of innocence, but he also looks like he’s seen things....

The Early Access version of Killing Floor 2 has just received a hefty content patch, offering a new map, an item hunt, and a couple of new characters, alongside the expected bug fixes and more general improvements. It’s not exactly rare for MMOs to require a purchase or subscription upon release, only to go free-to-play once its userbase dwindles. Slashing the required initial price to nothing is certainly a great way to get players to give a game a fair shake. But Kingdom Under Fire 2 from publisher Gameforge is the only game I’ve ever heard of that did things the other way around. But it makes a certain kind of sense when you dig into its history....

Konami’s first NFT auction - focused on Castlevania - has reportedly earned the company over £118,500 ($162,000). According to VGC, all 14 NFT items were sold, with the average price reportedly selling for around £8.7K ($12K). Although a constant stream of news about Cyberpunk 2077 recently came out of Gamescom, CD Projekt Red’s latest endeavor is far from done with its con-season tour. September 11th through the 15th have been penciled in to the developer’s calendar now as it is set to appear at Tokyo Game Show courtesy of Spike Chunsoft. Spike Chunsoft is the company handling the Japanese publishing duties for the game. Cyberpunk 2077 is offering an experience unique to TGS, though, including the chance to take pictures with a life-size replica of the motorcycle seen in the game....
